Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dikkie Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dikkie Dirk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Machete!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machete throws a head kick that misses.

Dirk closes the distance and pushes Machete back into the cage.
Dirk works on Machete's body with a couple of short punches.
Dirk blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dirk prevents a body shot from Machete.
Dirk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Machete just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dirk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Machete walks away with a smile on his face. Dirk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dirk connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Machete's hands.
Dirk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Machete sprawls well. Machete wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dirk gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dikkie Dirk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Machete pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machete goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Dirk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Machete napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dirk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Machete is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Machete is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dirk off and has taken his back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dirk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machete pinned against the cage. Machete gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dirk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machete tries to avoid it but Dirk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machete to the ground. Machete escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dirk is breathing heavily.
Machete throws a sloppy head kick and Dirk moves out of range easily.

Dirk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Machete wants to get back to his feet.

Dirk stops Machete from getting back to his feet.
Machete should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dirk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Machete doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dirk.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Machete fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dirk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Machete throws a head kick but Dirk moves out of range.

Dirk closes the distance and clinches.

Dirk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Machete fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Machete on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Machete is pressed up against the cage. Dirk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Machete down to the mat. Machete avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Machete throws a head kick but Dirk moves out of range.
Dirk lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dirk.

Dirk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Machete looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dirk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machete is fending him off so far but Dirk persists. Nope, Machete circles away and we're back to standing.

Dirk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machete looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dirk tries to score with some ground and pound. Machete controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
