Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Crockett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crockett darts in and clinches Howard up against the cage.

Howard tries a body shot but Crockett blocks it.
Crockett digs a right hand into Howard's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Howard's gas tank.
Come on Crockett - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Crockett is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Crockett stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Crockett lands a good knee to the midsection. Howard won't want to take too many of those.
Crockett will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Howard up against the cage.
Crockett lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters circle, before Crockett throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Howard's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Crockett lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
