The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pastra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carlos Jr but Carlos Jr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
George Carlos Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carlos Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carlos Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pastra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carlos Jr tries to avoid it but Pastra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carlos Jr to the ground. Carlos Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
