Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Pardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Starr!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardo tries to bum rush Starr with a series of wild strikes but Starr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pardo misses with a wild body shot.
Pardo slaps away a takedown attempt from Starr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Starr drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Starr takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Tommy Starr has been cut.
Starr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pardo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Paul Pardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pardo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Starr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pardo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pardo wants to stand and escape but Starr is having none of it.
Starr postures up.
Pardo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Starr is controlling him.

Starr drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Starr seems to have locked his on tight now - Pardo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Starr, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Tommy Starr!
