Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sub Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Breccov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breccov has chosen Stuntin like Mufasa as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sub Jones has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Breccov circles away.

Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Breccov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Breccov.
Breccov wants to get back to his feet.

Breccov tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Breccov is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Breccov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Breccov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Breccov tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Breccov to the ground. Breccov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Breccov lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Breccov has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Breccov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Breccov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Breccov rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jones throws a head kick but Breccov moves out of range.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Breccov won't be happy with that.
Breccov tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.

Breccov has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Breccov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
Jones wants to control from the top but Breccov keeps moving.
Jones is fighting to break Breccov's control of his arms but Breccov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jones stands up and waves to Breccov to follow him.

and Breccov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
