The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couture tries to keep at a distance but Thomas has taken the fight into the clinch.
Couture drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Thomas gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Thomas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thomas drops Couture with a left and a right! Oh, Couture is hurt - Thomas dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Ralf Couture has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thomas in side control, throwing shots but Couture defends.
Thomas lands a strong strike to the head of Couture. That's dazed him! Thomas looking to finish here. Couture is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Thomas lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
