Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sosa throws a body kick that misses.
Sosa throws a low kick but it's checked well by earth.
Sosa closes this distance looking for a takedown but earth circles away.

Sosa gets the takedown into side control.

Sosa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by earth, who protects the arm well.
earth sneaks back into half guard.
earth regains full guard. Nicely done.
Sosa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sosa trying to control but earth is working from the bottom.
Sosa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with earth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

earth is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sosa is aware though and is defending well.

earth had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sosa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. earth Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sosa's back instead.

earth is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Sosa has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but earth has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Sosa taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. earth doesn't care though - he's delighted!
