Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Camo Ishida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jericho Datu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishida comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Creeping Death. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ishida looks for a takedown but Datu sprawls well.

Ishida had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Datu is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ishida Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Datu's back instead.
Despite being in a bad position, Datu is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
Datu rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Datu is concentrating on defense, preventing Ishida from advancing position.
Ishida is just content to waste time from the top position. Datu takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Datu in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Datu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ishida's head backwards.

Datu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Datu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
