Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mic Wyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smokestack Lighting - Howlin' Wolf. Mic Wyn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mic Wyn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donnie James!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyn closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Wyn pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
James tries a head kick but it misses.

Wyn throws a combination that misses

and James holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
James wants to stall.

James is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wyn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip James to the mat. James regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Wyn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of James's head.
James controls Wyn momentarily but Wyn frees himself.

James pushes Wyn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Wyn lands a lovely overhand right.
Wyn misses with a wild combination.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wyn circles away quickly and effectively.

Wyn tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wyn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. James is trying to defend but Wyn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth.

James is desperately trying to improve his position but Wyn has a good base and remains in mount.

James shoots in for a takedown but Wyn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Donnie James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Donnie James.
