Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calico James!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunner looks to throw the jab but James is out of range.
Gunner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James throws a nice looking combination but Gunner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
James avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gunner moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off.
Gunner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gunner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and James counters with a stiff right hand.
Gunner throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
Good exchange - Gunner coming out on top.
James scores with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
James misses with a series of wild punches.
Gunner throws a jab when James was well out of range.

Gunner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gunner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by James.

James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gunner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
