The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marlov clinches up against the cage.

Belic ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Belic no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Marlov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Marlov wants to stand but Belic has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Belic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marlov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marlov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belic on the ground.

Belic is working an open guard so Marlov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Marlov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Belic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Belic misses with a looping left.
Marlov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Yuri Marlov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marlov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marlov clobbers Belic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Belic takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Yuri Marlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marlov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Belic has time to react.

Marlov moves into range and clinches up with Belic.
Belic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marlov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Belic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marlov smiles and moves away.
