Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Slewton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald's entrance music is Superstar. A fine choice. Carlos Slewton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald checks a leg kick.

McDonald rushes Slewton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

McDonald jumps into guard, dragging Slewton to the mat.

Slewton wants to control from the top but McDonald keeps moving.
McDonald manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slewton manages to get himself to full guard.
McDonald throws and elbow that misses. Slewton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McDonald's guard. Nice move by Slewton!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Slewton tries to roll over but McDonald keeps him under control.
McDonald is pressing down on Slewton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Slewton is holding on for now.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
McDonald plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Carlos Slewton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slewton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McDonald is fending him off so far but Slewton persists. Nope, McDonald circles away and we're back to standing.

McDonald moves into the clinch successfully.

That was a close round but I would say that Glen McDonald will probably get the nod.

McDonald has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Slewton is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slewton is on top in guard.

McDonald has his foot on Slewton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slewton works his way back into a safe position though.

Slewton takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Slewton gets caught flat footed, as McDonald shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
McDonald stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slewton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McDonald makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

McDonald stands and steps away. Slewton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

McDonald fails to land with a series of punches.
McDonald misses with a few strikes there.
Slewton keeps the fight on the outside.

Slewton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Slewton pushes McDonald up against the cage in a clinch.
McDonald has had enough of the clinch but Slewton keeps him there for the moment.

McDonald is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Slewton lets go of the hold and McDonald can pop his arm back in it's socket.
