The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferguson.
Peles gets back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferguson is looking for a kimura but Peles is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ferguson to get the leverage.
Ferguson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Peles wants to get back to full guard.
Peles is trying to control but can't.
Ferguson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Peles is refusing to be controlled, as Ferguson sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ferguson moves in looking to clinch but Peles pushes him off.

Ferguson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Peles is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ferguson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Peles slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Peles is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ferguson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Peles's body to avoid the submission. Peles has instead reached around Ferguson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Peles arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
