The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Berisha as he avoids it easily.
Berisha tries a head kick but it misses.
Berisha throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Redman.

Berisha tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Redman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Berisha defends it well.
Berisha wants to control but Redman is keeping busy.
Redman passes to side control.

Redman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Berisha has escaped the position, nice work there.
Redman looks gassed!
Redman cracks Berisha with a big right hand but Berisha just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Redman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Berisha keeps working.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Berisha manages to get back to half guard.
Berisha wants to get back to full guard but Redman has mounted him!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
