Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Umber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Logan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with John Umber's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Umber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Logan!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Logan tries to avoid it but Umber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Logan to the ground. Logan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Logan has his takedown stuffed

and Umber counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Umber has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Logan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Umber's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Umber throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Logan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Umber swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Umber will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Umber fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Umber takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nice takedown defense from Logan. No joy for Umber on that attempt.

Umber shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Logan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Umber shoots in but Logan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Umber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Umber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Logan won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Logan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Umber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Logan is tightening it up a little... Umber has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Umber reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Umber taps out! nice BJJ there by Logan!
