The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Souza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bond displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Souza.
Bond is looking to clinch but Souza is avoiding it.
Bond gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bond looking for a sweep. Not yet Bond, not yet.
Bond is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Souza is controlling him.
Souza is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Souza postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bond is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Souza, into his guard.
Bond wants to pass the guard but Souza is keeping the position.

Souza looking for a guillotine here but Bond defends easily.
Bond would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Souza looking for a triangle here. Bond is fighting it but it looks tight! Souza pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bond is tapping out - this one is all over!
