The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Reed with that takedown attempt.
Reed dodges the punch combination from KaNuckles.
Reed fails with a takedown attempt.
KaNuckles throws and low kick but Reed moves out of range easily.
KaNuckles moves out of range of the strikes.
Reed loads up on a big right hand but KaNuckles slips the punch.

KaNuckles feints and then cracks Reed's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reed down.
Reed is breathing heavily.

KaNuckles is looking to improve his position but Reed isn't that keen on the idea.

Reed looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! KaNuckles has picked Reed up and slammed him! Reed can't keep hold of the triangle and KaNuckles manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
