Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Foxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foxx might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eye of the tiger. Steve Foxx has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Foxx bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Boyd throws a body punch but Foxx moves out of range.
Boyd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Foxx sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Foxx tries to bum rush Boyd with a series of wild strikes but Boyd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boyd throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Foxx cracks Boyd with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Foxx stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Foxx is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boyd.

Foxx has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The fighters circle momentarily. Foxx darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Foxx looks to land a combination but Boyd avoids it well.
Boyd throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Foxx stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Foxx is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Foxx throws a hook to the side of Boyd's head but Boyd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boyd might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Foxx connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boyd's hands.

Foxx throws an uppercut from hell that sends Boyd clean off his feet! He's out cold! Foxx stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
