Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomato Can!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Siegel!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siegel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Siegel throws a head kick but Can moves out of range.
Siegel throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Tomato Can has been cut.

Can scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Can scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Siegel wants to improve his position but Can is controlling well.
Can lands with a punch from half guard.
Siegel has hold of Can's hands but Can slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Can throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Siegel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Siegel keeping moving, preventing Can from controlling successfully.
Siegel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Can chips away with some ground and pound.
Can trying to control the position from guard on top but Siegel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Can sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Siegel's guard.
Can looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Siegel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Can missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Siegel tries to get to full guard but Can has control of the leg.

Can postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Siegel to stand up.

Siegel is rocked!

Siegel has his foot on Can's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Can works his way back into a safe position though.

Can wants to control from the top but Siegel keeps moving.
Can landing with the ground and pound.
Can cracks Siegel with a solid left hand.

Can trying to control but Siegel is working from the bottom.

Can drops back looking for a leg! Siegel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Siegel manages to kick Can off! Can jumps back into Siegel's guard.
Siegel is trying to keep Can in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Can with a flurry of punches that miss.

Can has gone for a leg lock! Siegel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Can's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Siegel drops back looking for a leg! Can is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Can manages to kick Siegel off! Siegel jumps back into Can's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Good leg kick by Siegel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Siegel counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Can is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Siegel looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Can ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Siegel moves away.
Siegel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
