Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Kemp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Dodger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Adam Kemp has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Kemp!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Dodger!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemp throws a nice looking combination but Dodger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dodger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kemp moves away.
Dodger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kemp throws out a loose jab but Dodger uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kemp misses with a hook to the body

and Dodger counters with a shoot takedown. Kemp fights it but they end up in guard.
Dodger tries to free his leg and advance position but Kemp is retaining full guard.
Kemp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kemp wants to stand and escape but Dodger is having none of it.
Dodger throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dodger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kemp swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kemp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dodger has his foot on Kemp's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kemp works his way back into a safe position though.
Dodger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kemp misses with a jab to the body
and Dodger makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kemp cracks a nice hook into Dodger's ribs.

Kemp tries to clinch but Dodger moves away

and Dodger counters with a single leg into guard. Kemp didn't expect that.

and Dodger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kemp's guard.

Dodger looking to sit in guard and control but Kemp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dodger controls Kemp momentarily but Kemp frees himself.
Dodger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kemp controls the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dodger is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kemp throws a one two combo.
Kemp chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dodger can pounce on him.
Kemp misses with a double jab.
Kemp closes the distance looking to clinch

and Dodger counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dodger.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dodger wants to pass the guard but Kemp is keeping the position.

Dodger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kemp works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dodger throws and elbow that misses. Kemp uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dodger's guard. Nice move by Kemp!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Dodger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kemp won't be happy with that.

Kemp tries to get to full guard but Dodger has control of the leg.
