Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Carl Carter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Monsoon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsoon shoots in but Carter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Carter lands a nice hook to Monsoon's body. Monsoon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Monsoon looks gassed!
Carter looks to score with a jab to the body but Monsoon is just out of range.

Carter tries to bum rush Monsoon with a series of wild strikes but Monsoon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Monsoon drops his hands momentarily and Carter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Carter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Monsoon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carter avoids it really well and circles away.

No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Monsoon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ray Monsoon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Monsoon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
