Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mattson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orange Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orange Chicken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattson shoots in for a double leg but Chicken sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Chicken drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Chicken not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mattson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mattson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Chicken pulls his head out easily.

Chicken takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Chicken is looking to work his way around to Mattson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Chicken tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
I looks like Chicken might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Chicken's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mattson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Chicken is working for a guillotine from mount but Mattson frees his head quite easily.

Despite being in the dominant position, Orange Chicken just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Some bone on bone action there as Chicken checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
