The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lewis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Royal.
No joy there for Royal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lewis really is a fat lump.
Royal lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Royal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Royal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oh Lewis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Royal forces Lewis back against the cage and clinches.
Royal swings wildly with an uppercut but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lewis blocking some punches.
Royal throws a punch but it's blocked by Lewis.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Royal.
Royal tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lewis is pressed against the cage. Royal pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Lewis! Two more big strikes from Royal and Lewis crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
