Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roddick closes the distance and clinches.
Roddick wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Roddick drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roddick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
ss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roddick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten ss somewhat.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Roddick - that will leave a mark!
ss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Roddick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roddick throws a nice head kick!
Roddick gets a clinch.
Roddick has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. ss avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Roddick ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roddick no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roddick can do anything to dispel that myth.

ss maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Roddick could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but ss has cracked it and Roddick is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by ss!
