Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baron Von Barva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Nakamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Barva comes to the cage accompanied by Imperial March. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hiro Nakamora!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Barva tries to clinch up but Nakamora circles away and keeps his distance.

Von Barva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nakamora fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Von Barva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Nakamora displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Von Barva throws out the jab.

Von Barva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nakamora to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nakamora won't allow Von Barva to get back to his feet.

Nakamora drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Von Barva dives on top into guard.

Nakamora is working an open guard so Von Barva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Von Barva tries a knee to the head but Nakamora blocks it.
Nakamora drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Von Barva gets underhooks to prevent Nakamora's takedown attempt.
Baron Von Barva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiro Nakamora.
Nakamora goes for a takedown attempt but Von Barva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Von Barva fails with an attempt to clinch.

Von Barva moves into range and clinches up with Nakamora.
Von Barva tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nakamora tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nakamora takes a knee right on the jaw!
Nakamora jumps guard but Von Barva stands there with Nakamora around his waist. Nakamora gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Von Barva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Nakamora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Von Barva.

The cut above Hiro Nakamora's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Hiro Nakamora's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A short body shot lands from Von Barva as the two fighters clinch.
Von Barva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Von Barva lands an elbow that stopped Nakamora in his tracks for a moment.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hiro Nakamora's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
