Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantine Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ovechkin!

Ovechkin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rasputin is just riding it out for now. Ovechkin eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ovechkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rasputin as he avoids it easily.

Rasputin shoots in but no luck this time.
Rasputin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Ovechkin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rasputin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rasputin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
