Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jusa Jesse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Caldas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jesse.
Jesse throws a head kick but Caldas moves out of range.

Jesse throws a shot to the body.

Caldas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jesse to the mat! Jesse manages to get full guard.

Jesse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caldas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caldas drops back looking for a leg! Jesse is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jesse manages to kick Caldas off! Caldas jumps back into Jesse's guard.

Caldas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jesse is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Caldas defends well.
Caldas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jesse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jesse looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jesse throws his legs up looking for a submission but Caldas uses it to pass to side control.
Jesse is breathing heavily.

Caldas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jesse knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jesse is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Caldas's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Caldas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jesse is just riding it out for now. Caldas eventually gives up the hold.

Jesse wants to improve his position but Caldas is controlling well.

Caldas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jesse defends it well.

Jesse decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Jesse stands up and beckons Caldas to join him on the feet.

Caldas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jesse walks away with a smile on his face. Caldas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jesse misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jesse closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Caldas is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jesse pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Caldas gets full guard.

Caldas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jesse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Caldas is tightening it up a little... Jesse has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jesse reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jesse taps out! nice BJJ there by Caldas!
