Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Moukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durrant comes to the ring accompanied by Baha Men - Who let the dogs out. Moukari comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sunblock - I'll Be Ready kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Durrant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Augustus Moukari!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moukari tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Durrant ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Moukari moves in looking to clinch but Durrant pushes him off.
Durrant steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Moukari. That one must have hurt.
Moukari lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durrant circles away quickly and effectively.
Moukari slips a jab from Durrant.
Durrant misses with an uppercut.
Durrant shoots in for a takedown but Moukari shows good takedown defense.
Durrant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moukari pinned against the cage. Moukari gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Moukari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Durrant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Moukari keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Durrant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Durrant misses the jab.
Moukari tries to clinch up but Durrant circles away and keeps his distance.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Durrant.
Moukari fails to land with a series of punches.
Durrant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Moukari connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like David Durrant has been cut.
Durrant shoots in looking for a takedown. Moukari tries to sprawl out of it but Durrant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Moukari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Durrant is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moukari.
Moukari drops Durrant with a nice combination! Moukari dives into Durrant's guard, looking to finish!

Durrant is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Durrant working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Moukari has passed into half guard!
Oh Durrant is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durrant is looking for a sweep. Moukari is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Durrant is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Moukari pulls his head out easily.
Durrant seems to have got his legs back now.
Moukari is controlling the pace.
Moukari prevents Durrant from improving his position.
Durrant trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Durrant is in all sorts of trouble here.

Moukari get's back to his feet.

Moukari gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Moukari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Moukari lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Moukari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for Durrant with that takedown attempt.
A combination from Moukari does no damage.

Durrant throws a combination that misses
and Moukari counters with a three punch combo that has Durrant backing up. Durrant nods at Moukari to acknowledge the strikes.

David Durrant's cut is getting worse.
Durrant misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Moukari lands a big uppercut and Durrant crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Durrant looks OK. Moukari waves Durrant back to his feet!

Durrant is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durrant tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oh Durrant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durrant is breathing heavily.
Durrant walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

David Durrant's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Durrant slips a jab and a cross from Moukari.
Moukari fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Durrant seems to have got his legs back now.
Moukari throws a series of punches but Durrant avoids them all with ease.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Durrant. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Durrant slips a jab and a cross from Moukari.
Augustus Moukari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moukari throws a jab but it's blocked by Durrant.
Durrant takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Moukari uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Durrant.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moukari lands a jab.
Durrant looks to land a left hand but Moukari moved out of range nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Durrant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Moukari counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Durrant shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moukari as he jumps to the side.
Durrant misses with a combination
and Moukari counters with a straight right hand.
Durrant throws a hook but Moukari blocks it.
Moukari displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Durrant.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Durrant. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moukari throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Moukari counters with a body kick that stops Durrant in his tracks momentarily.

Moukari knocks Durrant to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
This has been an exciting period of action!

Moukari stands up and beckons Durrant to his feet.

Jeez, David Durrant's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moukari jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Durrant's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
