Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jericho comes to the ring accompanied by Moving in Stereo by The Cars. Dan Jericho has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Banks - just one landing.

Banks rushes Jericho and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Jericho looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jericho tries to circle away but Banks has him pinned against the ropes.

Banks lands a shot to the body.

Jericho has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Banks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Jericho is throwing shots to the body but Banks manages to wriggle free. Jericho pounces on him again and ends up in Banks's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Banks tries to land a front kick but Jericho steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fight stays on the outside here - Banks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No joy there for Banks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Banks is looking to clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Banks, as that shot connected.
Banks throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Some bone on bone action there as Banks checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jericho.
Jericho throws a push kick but Banks slaps the foot to one side.
Brad Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Banks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jericho.

Jericho fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banks sprawls well initially but Jericho persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Banks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jericho is taking a breather. Banks says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
