The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatone checks a low kick from Gonzalez.
Nice takedown defense from Gonzalez. No joy for Fatone on that attempt.
Gonzalez throws a body kick that misses.
Gonzalez throws a quick inside leg kick.
A good leg kick by Gonzalez.
Fatone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzalez's waist but Gonzalez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fatone off to one side.
Gonzalez sends Fatone crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gonzalez is motioning to the referee to let Fatone up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick by Gonzalez - that's a beauty! Fatone is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Gonzalez can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
