Salmelainen comes to the cage accompanied by At This Velocity. Squetsie Doubleday is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Squetsie Doubleday!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmelainen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doubleday avoids it really well and circles away.

and Salmelainen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Doubleday!

Salmelainen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Salmelainen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Salmelainen is going olschool here, as he tries to force Doubleday to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Doubleday shrugs it off.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Salmelainen passes Doubleday's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Doubleday flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Salmelainen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Doubleday is looking to control Salmelainen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Doubleday avoid being mounted?

Salmelainen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Doubleday is just riding it out for now. Salmelainen eventually gives up the hold.
