The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around GOD's waist but GOD gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

GOD had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. GOD Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
