Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Oliviera Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chanse Cravens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chanse Cravens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santiago Oliviera Nogueira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chanse Cravens!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nogueira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cravens looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nogueira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Nogueira had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cravens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nogueira Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cravens's back instead.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Santiago Oliviera Nogueira will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nogueira drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cravens looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cravens looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cravens!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cravens lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Nogueira is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cravens defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Cravens is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cravens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nogueira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cravens swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Santiago Oliviera Nogueira showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Nogueira has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
