With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hermann Von Duisberg!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Duisberg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Von Duisberg tries to clinch but Watts moves out of range.

Von Duisberg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Watts drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Von Duisberg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Watts postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Von Duisberg is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Watts, into his guard.

Von Duisberg decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Watts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Von Duisberg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Watts feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ken Watts.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Watts, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
