The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johansson closes the distance and clinches.

Chim throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Johansson escapes and throws Chim's legs to the side, diving into side control!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Johansson is looking for a sweep. Chim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Johansson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chim walks away with a smile on his face. Johansson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Chim misses with a low kick.
Chim tries for a takedown but Johansson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chim throws a shot from downtown. Johansson moves away and avoids it.

Johansson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Chim has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Johansson but great work by Chim.
Chim cracks Johansson with a big right hand but Johansson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chim bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Chim drops back looking for a leg! Johansson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johansson manages to kick Chim off! Chim jumps back into Johansson's guard.
