The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luiz tries to clinch but fails miserably

Sackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Sackson gets to his feet. Luiz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Sackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Well, if Sackson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luiz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Andrew Sackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

so Sackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Luiz is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sackson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Luiz's body to avoid the submission. Luiz has instead reached around Sackson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Luiz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
