The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan blocks a head kick by Peers.
Peers fails to land with a series of punches.
Peers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Logan misses with the combination.
Logan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Logan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Peers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Logan throws a series of punches but Peers avoids them all with ease.
James Logan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Logan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Logan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Logan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Peers.
Logan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Peers backs up against the cage.
Peers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Logan as he avoids it easily.
Logan throws a right hand that Peers ducks under and follows up with a left that Peers also avoids with ease.

Peers darts in and clinches Logan up against the cage.
Logan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Peers has him pressed against the cage.
Peers drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Peers goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Peers breaks from the clinch.

Logan tries to keep at a distance but Peers has taken the fight into the clinch.
Peers avoiding damage.
Logan is trying to break free.

Peers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Peers is breathing heavily.
Peers throws a head kick but Logan moves out of range.
James Logan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Logan works over Peers's head and body with a nice combination.
Peers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Logan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
