Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Thats Entertainment. Dennis Davis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis drops Thompson with a left right combo! Davis follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Dan Thompson has been cut.
Davis wants to stand but Thompson is controlling his arm.
Thompson can't do much from the bottom here.
Davis tries to stand but Thompson is controlling his head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Thompson to his feet.

Thompson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davis was covering up waiting for the punch and Thompson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Thompson is in close to Davis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Thompson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Thompson trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis wants to stand and escape but Thompson is having none of it.

Davis wants to get back to his feet but Thompson passes into half guard.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Thompson is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thompson to get the leverage.
Thompson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Thompson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Davis!

Thompson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Thompson has control of Davis's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Davis regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Davis wants to get back to his feet.
Thompson looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
