The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kerr has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

george had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kerr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. george Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kerr's back instead.

Kerr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed george clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

george bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kerr's guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Matt Kerr just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
