The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chain sprawls well. Chain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fox gets slowly back to his feet.
Chain tries to close the distance and clinch but Fox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fox tries to clinch up.

Chain closes the distance and clinches.
Chain drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Chain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fox manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chain's best efforts.
Well, if Chain is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Fox pushes Chain off looking to stand but Chain dives back in and keeps control.
Chain seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fox is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Chain pulls his head out easily.
Chain slips a nice elbow through Fox's hands, connecting with Fox's forehead.

Chain shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fox is trying to defend but Chain finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chain lands a nice short elbow.
Chain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fox keeps working.

Fox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Chain leaves Fox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Aidan Fox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Fox counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chain won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fox lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chain down.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chris Chain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Chain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fox tries to avoid it but Chain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fox to the ground. Fox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Fox with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Chain wants to control but Fox is having none of it.

Fox is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chain has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chain!

Chain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fox swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Chain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
