Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Soora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eifion Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eifion Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soora feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Soora pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Soora is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Soora eventually gives up the hold.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Soora is working away from the top position though.
Jones tries to roll over but Soora keeps him under control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jones is trying to control but can't.
Soora passes the guard and advances to mount!

Soora get's back to his feet.
Jin Soora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones fails with the takedown

and Soora decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
Soora might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Soora drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Soora jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
Soora tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Soora is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Soora slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jones is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Soora shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Soora passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Soora is breathing heavily.

Soora goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Soora's guard! Nice work there by Jones!
Jones is looking to stand up but Soora won't let him.

Soora lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones wants to hold on but Soora pushes him away.

Soora is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Soora extends the arm and Jones is forced to tap!
