Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jan Modaal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Jauncey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jauncey's choice of entrance music: The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun. Jan Modaal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modaal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jauncey tries to avoid it but Modaal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jauncey to the ground. Jauncey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Modaal avoids a punch combination nicely.

Modaal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jauncey counters with a nice body shot.
Modaal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
