The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Allen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Allen blocks a head kick by drew jr.
A head kick misses from drew jr.

drew jr gets caught flat footed, as Allen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Allen wants to pass the guard but drew jr is keeping the position.
Allen stops drew jr from standing up.

Allen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Allen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
drew jr wants to stand up but Allen is controlling him.
Allen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but drew jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Allen passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Allen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
drew jr is pushing Allen's head away, looking to escape. Allen manages to hold on to the position though.
Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but drew jr keeps working.
Allen prevents drew jr from escaping the position.
drew jr gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Allen looking to control but drew jr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
