The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson misses with a takedown attempt - Vasquez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Andersson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vasquez sprawls well initially but Andersson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Andersson wants to stand but Vasquez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Vasquez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Andersson pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andersson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Andersson is looking to take a break and control but Vasquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vasquez tries to roll over but Andersson keeps him under control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Andersson throws a head kick but Vasquez moves out of range.

Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vasquez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Andersson looks to land a combination. Vasquez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Vasquez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Vasquez has his feet on Andersson's thighs here. He's pushed Andersson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Andersson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
