Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Jura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Jura has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brock Lesnor's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jura will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lesnor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lesnor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lesnor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jura swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lesnor walks away with a smile on his face. Jura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Jura tries to buck Lesnor off but Lesnor is having none of it.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lesnor throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Lesnor has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jura clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Lesnor has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jura takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Lesnor could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lesnor stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jura keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lesnor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jura is looking to escape.

Lesnor jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jura is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jura and Lesnor has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Brock Lesnor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lesnor decides to stand back up.

Jura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lesnor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
