Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fuego Silveti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Cassidy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveti tries to clinch up.
Silveti tries to close the distance and clinch but Cassidy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silveti lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cassidy or not.
Silveti is looking to control Cassidy's arms but Cassidy gets an underhook and turns him. Now Silveti has his back to the cage.
Silveti tries to work over Cassidy's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Silveti lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cassidy.
Silveti goes for a takedown attempt but Cassidy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cassidy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Cassidy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silveti is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cassidy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silveti's back instead.

Cassidy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Silveti defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

I really don't envy Silveti right now.

Cassidy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Silveti knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Silveti for a finish.

Well Cassidy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
