Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between macho harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Matheus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). macho harris is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matheus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. harris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Matheus advances nicely into full mount.
Matheus trying to control but harris is having none of it.
harris tries to hold on but Matheus pushes him away.
Matheus tries to control but harris wriggling away.
Matheus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control harris kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
harris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if harris tries to get out of the position.
harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Matheus is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, harris has managed to escape the submission attempt.
harris really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
harris holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Matheus tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
harris tries to lock up and control but Matheus gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Matheus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. harris can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
harris's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Matheus has control of harris's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and harris regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Matheus stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Matheus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for harris!
harris is breathing heavily.

Matheus is going olschool here, as he tries to force harris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so harris shrugs it off.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Matheus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

harris is staying active underneath Matheus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Matheus wants to pass to mount but harris is defending the position.
Matheus thows a huge punch but harris dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dante Matheus dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

harris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Matheus sprawls well initially but harris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Matheus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. harris manages to get himself to full guard.

Matheus stands and throws harris's legs to the side, diving into side control.
harris is not content to let Matheus control the position.
harris stops Matheus from passing to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Matheus decides to stand back up.
macho harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
harris tries for a takedown but Matheus circles away easily

and Matheus counters with a nice double leg into side control. harris won't be happy with that.
Matheus wants to stand but harris has his arm trapped.

harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matheus on the ground.

Matheus thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

harris is not content to let Matheus control the position.
Matheus tries to move into full mount but can't pass harris's legs.

Matheus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Matheus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
harris looks to move to half guard but instead Matheus has passed into mount! Damn!

harris is squirming around, avoiding Matheus's attempts to control the action.

Matheus is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. harris is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. harris flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Matheus anticipates the leg and manages to get behind harris and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Matheus slips an arm under harris chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Matheus has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Matheus is squeezing on harris like an anaconda would it's prey. harris fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
