The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dibs gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nice combo by Dibs! Oh, that's hurt him - Khomeini falls to the canvas and Dibs follows him into side control.

It looks like Mahmud Khomeini has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dibs tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Khomeini gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Khomeini tries to roll over but Dibs keeps him under control.

Khomeini works his way to full guard. Good work.

Khomeini working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dibs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dibs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Khomeini escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dibs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dibs stands and steps away. Khomeini gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dibs throws a series of punches but Khomeini avoids them all with ease.

Dibs drops Khomeini with a right and a left! Dibs comes rushing in but Khomeini regains his composure and manages to keep Dibs in guard.

Khomeini is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dibs gets to his feet. Khomeini looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dibs cracks Khomeini with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dibs has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Khomeini to stand back up!
Khomeini is still on wobbly legs! Can Dibs finish him?
Dibs lands a brutal uppercut that launches Khomeini off his feet! Khomeini tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
