Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jonesy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sumo Zuluzinio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonesy comes to the cage accompanied by CASH MONEY. Zuluzinio has chosen zulu vs minowa as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonesy blocks a low kick nicely.
Jonesy waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Zuluzinio.
A bone on bone clash there as Jonesy blocks the leg kick.
Jonesy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zuluzinio.
Jonesy throws a right and a left that Zuluzinio avoids nicely.
Zuluzinio motions for Jonesy to come forward. Zuluzinio throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Zuluzinio fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jonesy checks it well.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Zuluzinio, right into the meat.
Zuluzinio tries to close the distance and clinch but Jonesy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zuluzinio wants to land a leg kick but Jonesy is out of range.

A clash of legs there as Jonesy blocks the low kick.
Zuluzinio throws a chopping leg kick but Jonesy manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Zuluzinio checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jonesy throws a jab but it's blocked by Zuluzinio.
Jonesy moves out of range of the leg kick from Zuluzinio.

Zuluzinio shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Zuluzinio throws out a leg kick but Jonesy moves out of range and Zuluzinio only half commits.

Zuluzinio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jonesy, pushing him back against the cage.
Jonesy tries to score a body lock takedown but Zuluzinio shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jonesy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zuluzinio fights it off and pushes away nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jonesy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zuluzinio wants to clinch.
Zuluzinio takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jonesy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jonesy throws a series of punches but Zuluzinio moves out of range.
Jonesy throws a sloppy head kick and Zuluzinio moves out of range easily.
Jonesy tries to land a front kick but Zuluzinio steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Zuluzinio misses with a leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Zuluzinio.

Zuluzinio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jonesy, pushing him back against the cage.
Jonesy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Zuluzinio lands an elbow just above Jonesy 's eye.

It looks like David Jonesy has been cut.
Jonesy tries to pull guard but Zuluzinio holds him up against the cage and eventually Jonesy drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Jonesy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jonesy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zuluzinio has him pressed against the cage.

David Jonesy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jonesy blocks an elbow strike.
Jonesy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Zuluzinio comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Zuluzinio lands an elbow that stopped Jonesy in his tracks for a moment.

Jeez, David Jonesy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Jonesy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
