Ridley comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Turn Off The Lights - Enrique Iglesias . Kenny Smith will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ridley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Smith sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ridley defending well though.
Ridley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Ridley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
It looks like Smith is going to stand back up.
Ridley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!
Ridley controlling the position well here. Smith rolled but Ridley kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Ridley is looking to control Smith but Smith is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Smith manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ridley's guard. Nice work there by Smith.

Smith decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ridley, up you get!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ridley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smith tries to clinch but Ridley is having none of it.
Ridley takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ridley quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Smith has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ridley celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
